TXM Recruit are supporting a major automated distribution business in the search for an experienced Automation Maintenance Engineer to join their engineering team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a highly automated site, working on cutting-edge parcel handling and automation equipment within a fast-paced environment.
The Role
- Carry out planned preventative and reactive maintenance on automated machinery.
- Diagnose and rectify electrical and mechanical faults.
- Support continuous improvement projects to improve equipment reliability and performance.
- Complete maintenance documentation and fault reporting.
- Work closely with the wider engineering and operations teams to maximise site performance.
Requirements
- NVQ Level 3, ONC or equivalent in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
- Previous experience maintaining automated production or material handling equipment.
- Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills.
- Experience within automation, manufacturing, logistics or distribution environments.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
