About the Role
We are seeking experienced Assembly & Test Technicians to join a leading aerospace engineering team based in Wolverhampton. The role involves the assembly and testing of flight-critical actuators and subcomponents to exceptionally close tolerances, requiring precision, technical skill, and a strong understanding of engineering processes.

Working Hours: 37 hours per week
Monday to Thursday: 7:30 am 4:15 pm
Friday: 7:30 am 11:30 am
Key Responsibilities: Assemble and test flight-critical actuators and subcomponents with a high degree of accuracy.
Use precision measuring equipment such as micrometers, vernier calipers, and height gauges to inspect components.
Work from engineering drawings and component maintenance manuals.
Conduct quality audits and ensure all assembly and test procedures are followed.
Take responsibility for the release to service of repaired actuators.
Key Skills & Experience: Apprentice trained or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering.
Proven experience in an engineering or manufacturing role, ideally within aerospace or other high-precision industries.
Good understanding of assembly and test manufacturing.
Competent in reading and following engineering drawings and detailed procedures.
Experience within an aerospace quality system is advantageous
