Windchill PLM Administrator Location: Ampthill Salary: Competitive Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday–Thursday (4xFlex) Security Clearance: SC clearance required to start, followed by DV clearance TXM Recruit is working in partnership with a defence organisation to recruit a Windchill PLM Administrator based in Ampthill. This is an opportunity for an experienced PLM Administrator with 2–3 years of hands-on Windchill experience to support engineering programmes within a secure defence environment, while benefiting from a four-day working week. You will design, develop and maintain client-side and server-side customisations, integrations and data migration solutions for PTC Windchill. Working with cross-functional teams, you will support product data management, engineering change control and collaboration across global engineering disciplines. The Role * Design, develop and implement PTC Windchill PLM solutions. * Customise and configure Windchill to meet business and engineering requirements. * Integrate the platform with other enterprise systems and applications. * Develop and support data migration solutions. * Provide technical support and troubleshoot system issues. * Work with stakeholders to gather and analyse requirements. * Develop and maintain technical documentation. * Conduct system testing and validation to ensure compliance with specifications. * Perform system upgrades and ongoing maintenance. About You * An experienced PLM Administrator with 2–3 years of practical PTC Windchill experience. * Strong understanding of Windchill architecture and PLM processes. * Experience developing and managing Windchill solutions, including customisation and configuration. * Software development skills using Java, XML, and related technologies. * Familiarity with database management and SQL. * A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related discipline. * Strong problem-solving, communication and teamwork skills. * Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities. Defence industry experience is desirable, although candidates from an engineering background will also be considered.
