Tewkesbury | 12-Month Fixed Term Contract
Precision Manufacturing | New Build & Aftermarket Programmes
We are recruiting on behalf of a global aerospace and precision engineering organisation based in Tewkesbury. They are looking to appoint Aerospace Assembly & Finishing Technicians to join their Manufacturing team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a high-performance engineering environment where quality, teamwork, and continuous improvement are at the heart of everything they do.
The role supports both New Build and Aftermarket aerospace and industrial programmes, offering genuine development opportunities and the potential for longer-term progression.
The Role
This is a hands-on manufacturing position focused on the assembly, finishing, and testing of precision aerospace components to exacting industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manual assembly of precision components and sub-assemblies
- Basic fitting, nulling, deburring, and surface grinding
- Bench testing, wire rating, and pressure testing
- Using hand tools, gauges, winding machines, and measuring equipment
- Maintaining high standards of housekeeping, safety, and quality
- Completing quality checks and working toward self-certification
- Supporting lean manufacturing initiatives (5S, TPM)
- Providing flexible support across manufacturing areas as required
You’ll play a key role in ensuring products meet strict aerospace quality and performance standards.
About You
We’re keen to speak with candidates who demonstrate a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a genuine desire to develop within a manufacturing or aerospace environment. You will ideally have:
- A reasonable standard of education
- Experience within manufacturing, engineering, or aerospace (desirable but not essential)
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Good timekeeping and attendance
- Flexibility to work shifts, overtime, and across sites if required
If you have hands-on mechanical aptitude and a positive attitude, full training and structured development will be provided.
