TXM are working with a well-established international client who are currently recruiting for a Reliability Engineer within the Rail industry.
As a Reliability Engineer, you will be responsible for our client\’s rolling stock fleet providing technical expertise. This may include the creation, maintenance, and management of fleet-specific growth plans whilst analysing data to ensure our client\’s targets are achieved.
Key Duties for the Role of Reliability Engineer:
- Drive technical reliability analysis and associated reporting.
- Provide report summaries of incidents counts and provide analysis of data used for reliability and quality metrics.
- Drive development and implementation of fleet/system reliability growth plans to meet technical and contractual targets on fleet performance.
- Support technical/reliability review meetings.
- Implement fleet-specific Reliability and Product Improvement Plans, ensuring it is harmonised with all departments and is compliant with Quality/ISO certifications.
- Support Through-Life-Care model within our client and the Group to enhance reliability and performance through our relevant products.
- Undertake any other reasonable duties and responsibilities as may be required.
What We Need From You:
- Engineering qualification HNC/HND/Degree.
- Previous experience and a proven track record of successful Fleet/technical engineering/reliability in the rail industry on modern passenger fleets.
- Sound understanding of: Modern train systems, FRACAS, Cost Benefit Analysis, FTA methodologies. Concepts for compliance with safety and reliability requirements.
