TXM are working with a long term, loyal client who need a Finance Controller to join their finance team. Our client is looking for an experienced candidate with at least 3 years experience and experience in a leadership position with the ability to run and look after a team. Our client is looking to offer a Three to Six Month Fixed term contract with the opportunity to be a permanent member of staff at the end of this.

This role has multiple aspects, but the key responsibilities include:

  • Financial Reporting and Analysis: Deliver consolidated financial reports, variance analysis, KPIs, and commercial insights to support decision-making.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Lead budgeting, manage rolling forecasts, and conduct scenario planning aligned with business strategy.
  • Cost Management and Profitability: Oversee cost controls, conduct margin analysis, and implement cost optimisation strategies while maintaining service quality.
  • Compliance and Internal Controls: Manage month-end close, ensure tax compliance, maintain internal controls, and coordinate year-end audits.
  • Business Partnering and Leadership: Partner with operations, provide financial guidance on investments and contracts, and lead the finance team's development.
  • Systems and Process Improvements: Enhance financial systems, drive process automation, evaluate reporting tools, and support ERP system implementation.

To be successful within this role, you will need to have experience within a manufacturing company as this role will require you to hit the ground running. This role will also require you to be on site five days a week, Monday to Friday.
