TXM Recruit are currently looking to put a team of Welders together on a contract basis for a rail client in Milton Keynes. The team will be performing corrosion removal on various fleets of rolling stock vehicles; you will need to be able to weld in the following positions.
Responsibilities
- As a Welder you would be carrying out a variety of welds, including flat, vertical, horizontal and overhead.
Qualifications
- Be able to MIG weld to a strong standard.
- Be able to pass a rail industry standard medical and drug and alcohol test.
- Minimum Level 2 qualification in welding/fabrication.
- A weld test will be required prior to start dates being offered, as well as pass a rail standard medical and drugs & alcohol.
