TXM Plant are looking for a number of RRV Machine Operators to join our team at one of the UK’s leading suppliers of Road Rail Vehicles in the North East region. With over 500 people involved in our business, TXM Plant deliver RRV Hire and POS Services throughout the UK. Main Duties:
- Operating Road/Rail Vehicles as required within their competence range including attachments.
- Attending site safety briefings and inductions ensuring all Health and Safety Standards and Regulations are adhered to, including PPE requirements.
- Compliance with Working Time Regulations and Fatigue Standards.
- Ensuring completion of pre-start checks and post work checks as required per shift.
- Ensuring defects are reported in line with company standards.
- Have a legal responsibility under Section 7 and Section 8 of the Health and Safety at Work Act (HAWSAW) (1974) to take reasonable care for your own health and safety and that of other persons who may be affected by your acts or omissions.
Role Requirements:
- Hold and maintain a valid CPCS license or equivalent.
- Hold and maintain a valid Sentinel Smart Card with current PTS card, Safety Critical Card and Authority to Work Card.
- Hold a base machine competence from a nationally recognised accreditation scheme.
- Desire to learn skills and attend training to build up competency base.
- Demonstrate rail experience; or civils.
- Flexibility is essential due to business travel, weekend and night shifts paid at enhanced rates.
