Due to continued business growth, we\’re excited to announce a brand-new opportunity for a Business Intelligence Analyst to join our Finance Team. This is a dynamic, hands-on role that offers real autonomy and the chance to collaborate closely with both our internal Finance and wider Analyst Teams.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving, stakeholder engagement, and working with data to drive insight and action. You\’ll be responsible for maintaining and enhancing a complex Power BI reporting suite and will play a key role in turning data into clear, compelling stories for decision-makers across the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and develop existing Power BI dashboards and reporting tools.
  • Deliver regular reporting including ROI analysis, commission tracking, variance analysis, and leaderboards.
  • Support with annual budgeting and forecasting processes.
  • Respond to ad hoc reporting requests (e.g., job board ROI, AWR compliance, pay/charge rate calculations).
  • Advise on new processes and reporting opportunities using existing data.
  • Ensure data integrity across SQL databases and Power BI reports.
  • Compile and manipulate data from various sources including Excel, CRMs, financial systems, and SQL databases.

What We\’re Looking For…

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Proficiency in Power BI (DAX, visualisation development, data modelling).
  • Strong SQL knowledge (view creation, basic ETL procedures, CTEs, temporary tables, stored procedures).
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Excellent communication skills – able to explain complex data to a variety of stakeholders, from directors to junior recruitment staff.
  • A logical, self-motivated mindset with a passion for solving data problems.

Preferred:

  • Background in recruitment or payroll, with an understanding of Employer PAYE costs, margins, AWR, and VAT.
  • Experience with Power Automate.
