Number of contracted weekly working hours is negotiable - up to a maximum of 20 hours per week. This contract will be for regular work and pay (not zero hours). Weeks per year: School term-times, plus two weeks in the Summer holidays.

About the Post: We are looking to appoint Cleaners to join our team to play a lead role in undertaking general cleaning duties, to provide a clean, hygienic and safe environment for teaching and other school activities.

  • Carry out appropriate cleaning tasks as part of the cleaning team and in accordance with the required standards of work practices.
  • Promote and safeguard the welfare of children and young people in accordance with our Safeguarding and Child Protection policies.

You are likely to be someone who:

  • Is able to work with limited supervision to an established work pattern.
  • Is able to observe health and safety requirements.
  • Is able to ensure that work undertaken meets expected standards, and undertake appropriate training as required.
  • Can maintain good working relationships with other school staff.
