The Opportunity
On behalf of our client—an established, family-owned textile manufacturer with a long-standing reputation for quality—we’re looking for a commercially minded Senior Sales Executive to join the senior management team.
This is a hands-on sales leadership role focused on managing and growing relationships with customers in the UK and across key European markets. The client is a leading supplier of premium worsted fabric to luxury fashion houses, retail groups, and independent merchants.
The successful candidate will take ownership of end-to-end sales activities across a portfolio of accounts, contribute to product development, and play a visible role at major international trade shows.
The Role Includes:
- Managing an active customer base across the UK, France, Italy and wider European markets
- Presenting new seasonal ranges and developing bespoke fabric concepts
- Quoting prices, managing order timelines and delivery in collaboration with production Developing new customer opportunities in line with growth ambitions
- Representing the business at trade shows in Paris, Milan and the UK
- Supporting range development and working closely with in-house design
The Ideal Candidate:
- Sales experience within textiles or a premium manufacturing environment
- Strong relationship builder with a natural commercial instinct
- Team player with excellent communication and organisational skills
- Detail-oriented and capable of managing multiple moving parts
- Comfortable working with systems and internal sales tools (training provided)
- Willing to travel internationally as required
- Based full-time in Leeds, West Yorkshire
