The work is likely to include: FCA certification and regulatory notifications Reviewing financial promotions Supporting upcoming regulatory reporting Reviewing and updating the firm’s ICARA Operational risk and Consumer Duty work Governance and controls Compliance input into the development of a client data room Other business-as-usual compliance matters You are likely to have worked within investment management, private markets, asset management, alternatives or a closely related FCA-regulated environment. Direct private equity experience would be helpful but is not essential. More important is evidence that you have personally completed this type of work, can operate without a large compliance infrastructure around you and are comfortable rolling your sleeves up in a small business. The initial requirement is expected to involve at least 1-2 months of work and could extend beyond this and, indeed, lead to a more permanent opportunity if desired. It may suit an established contractor, an independent consultant or an experienced compliance professional currently between permanent roles. The business has offices in Leeds and London. The working arrangement can be flexible, although some office attendance may be required. Availability to start quickly is important.
