A well-established engineering business is looking to recruit an experienced Field Service Engineer to join its growing service and installations team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong mechanical engineering experience who enjoys varied work, travel and hands-on problem solving.
The Role
- Installation, servicing, maintenance and repair of industrial mechanical equipment for flow control systems
- Fault-finding on mechanical, pneumatic and control systems
- UK-wide travel with occasional overseas and offshore projects
- Carrying out site inspections, upgrades and customer support visits
- Completing service documentation, risk assessments and reports
- Working closely with customers to deliver high standards of service and support
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience within field service, mechanical maintenance or industrial engineering
- Mechanical bias with knowledge of actuators, valves, HVAC or heavy industrial equipment
- Understanding of instrumentation, control systems, pneumatic and electrical systems
- Engineering qualification (Level 3 / ONC or equivalent preferred)
- Flexible approach to travel and working away when required
- Full UK driving licence
