An excellent opportunity for an experienced Project Manager to join a growing engineering business delivering bespoke, high-value projects across complex industrial sectors. This role forms part of a long-term succession plan, with one of the senior Project Managers due to retire in the next 18 months. This creates a rare opportunity to work closely alongside and learn from someone with over 40 years of industry experience before stepping into a key position within the business.
The Role
- Manage projects from initial planning through to delivery
- Coordinate customers, suppliers and internal teams
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to specification
- Oversee documentation, quality and compliance
About You
- 3-5+ years’ project management experience within engineering/manufacturing, ideally for oil & gas or power industries
- Strong mechanical engineering knowledge, including fabrication/welding
- Project Management qualification (Prince2, Agile, APMP or similar)
- Engineering qualification (HNC/ONC or above)
- Strong organisational and communication skills
