TWR Performance is an automotive design, engineering, and manufacturing organisation specialising in the production of high-end sports cars with the perfect balance of performance, style, functionality, and quality.
Based in our purpose-built facility in Newbury, Berkshire, we are a small enthusiastic team who continually challenge the status quo with a vision to bring the emotion back to driving.
As part of our continued growth, we are currently looking for a Welder / Fabricator to join the team. Your main responsibilities will include:
- Preparation of vehicle body shells, including fitment of tubular reinforcement structures
- Sheet metal fabrication and bodywork repairs
- Fabrication of substructures such as suspension components and subframes.
- Working with the fabrication team to improve processes and streamline shell preparation procedures.
We’re looking for a self-motivated team player with a positive and enthusiastic attitude.
You should have a good knowledge and experience of fabrication processes and equipment as well as being proficient in MIG welding, TIG welding experience would be a benefit to any prospective candidate but not essential.
You should be able to work from your own initiative as well as read and understand engineering drawings, and understand basic inspection and measurement tools.
You should pride yourself on your attention to detail, have good communication skills, and be capable of delivering a high standard of performance and quality whilst working to strict deadlines in a time-sensitive environment.
