We are actively recruiting a proactive Tax Trainee who is passionate about making a difference to join our friendly and supportive working environment. The successful candidate will work alongside experienced tax professionals to learn the required procedures needed for a tax career with full training leading to a professional qualification and development opportunities to enhance your career. TWP has a varied client base giving candidates the opportunity to get involved with a variety of work and development opportunities. This would be the perfect role for an A-level leaver or graduate looking to start a career in taxation.
The Role:
- Assist with personal tax return preparation for various individual clients including, but not limited to, sole traders, directors and landlords
- Assist with corporation tax administrative work
- Assist with ATED returns and P11dβs
- Liaising with HMRC regarding clientsβ tax affairs
- Dealing with correspondence from HMRC
- Assisting the tax team with queries and ad hoc work
- Report to the Tax Managers
Skills and Knowledge:
- Ability to work well in a team and independently
- Willingness to learn
Qualifications Essential:
- A Levels β A to C results in at least 3 A Levels
- English and Maths GCSE 9 β 7 pass minimum
