What you’ll be doing:
- Work confidently with Shopify Online Store 2.0, metafields, and dynamic sections
- Collaborate with designers to deliver pixel-perfect, responsive builds
- Optimise sites for speed, accessibility, SEO, and AI-driven search visibility
- Integrate with Shopify APIs and work on custom functionality with backend developers
- Experiment with AI-assisted tools and emerging Shopify features to streamline and elevate development
- Contribute ideas to continuously improve our processes, standards, and workflows
You should be/have:
- 1–3+ years of front-end development experience (agency or freelance welcome)
- Practical experience developing Shopify themes using Liquid
- Familiarity with Shopify’s ecosystem— apps, metafields, and theme customisation
- Understanding of SEO principles and best practices for optimisation
- Curiosity about AI tools and how they can enhance development workflows
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to clean, maintainable code
- Collaborative mindset with a proactive, problem-solving approach
- A genuine drive to stay one step ahead of trends in front-end and eCommerce tech
Bonus Points For:
- Experience with Shopify Plus or headless builds (Hydrogen/Next.js)
- Familiarity with Git, modern build tools, and component libraries
