We’ve partnered with a leading global manufacturing organisation to appoint an experienced EHS Manager for a state-of-the-art facility, near Wigan. The role focuses on leading Environmental, Health & Safety activity on site, embedding effective systems, promoting a strong safety culture, and supporting operational performance.

The role will suit a proactive EHS professional who enjoys building frameworks, influencing stakeholders, and operating in fast-paced, technically complex environments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead all EHS activity across the facility, ensuring full compliance with UK legislation and internal standards
  • Develop, implement, and continuously improve EHS management systems, policies, and procedures
  • Act as the site lead for risk management, incident investigation, audits, and inspections
  • Partner closely with operations, engineering, and leadership teams to embed a strong safety culture
  • Drive environmental performance, sustainability initiatives, and continuous improvement
About You:
  • Proven experience in an EHS leadership role within a fast paced Logistics, Warehousing or Manufacturing environment
  • NEBOSH Diploma (or equivalent) and relevant environmental qualification preferred
  • Strong communication skills with the confidence to influence all levels of the organisation.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and implement effective actions.
