We are currently supporting a leading contractor delivering a major data centre project and are looking to speak with experienced Temporary Works Coordinators. This role would suit someone with a strong engineering background who has progressed into temporary works coordination and has experience managing temporary works processes on large-scale construction projects.
The Key Responsibilities of the Temporary Works Coordinator:
- Coordinate and manage all temporary works activities across the project.
- Ensure compliance with BS 5975 and company temporary works procedures.
- Liaise with Temporary Works Designers, Site Teams, Project Managers and subcontractors.
- Review temporary works designs and ensure appropriate approvals are in place.
- Maintain and manage the Temporary Works Register.
- Support the planning and implementation of temporary works solutions across a technically complex project environment.
- Promote high standards of safety, quality and compliance.
The Temporary Works Coordinator will have:
- Previous experience as a Temporary Works Coordinator.
- Strong engineering background within construction, civil engineering or major projects.
- TWC qualification.
- Good understanding of BS 5975.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience working on large, fast-paced construction projects.
