We are supporting a fast growing construction contractor in the appointment of a HSE Advisor to support a major data centre project in Southall, West London. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone earlier in their HSE career, or an Advisor looking to further develop within a fast-paced, technically complex environment. Reporting into an experienced HSE Manager, you’ll gain exposure to high-spec construction works and play a key role in maintaining high safety standards on site.
The HSE Advisor role responsibilities:
- Support the HSE Manager in delivering health, safety and environmental strategy on a live data centre project
- Conduct site inspections, audits, and behavioural safety observations
- Assist with the review and implementation of RAMS
- Support incident investigations and ensure lessons learned are communicated
- Engage with site teams and subcontractors to promote a proactive safety culture
- Ensure compliance with legislation, client standards, and company procedures
- Maintain accurate HSE records and reporting
The HSE Advisor will have:
- NEBOSH General Certificate (or equivalent)
- Experience within construction, M&E, or infrastructure environments (data centre experience advantageous but not essential)
- Keen to develop and progress within HSE
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Proactive, driven, and able to operate in a fast-paced site environment
