About the Company: We're partnering with a leading infrastructure contractor with a strong presence across Scotland. Due to continued growth and an increasing workload across their project portfolio, they are looking to appoint an additional SHEQ Advisor to support operational teams across a network of projects throughout the Central Belt. The business delivers critical infrastructure works and has built a strong reputation for safety, quality and client delivery. This role offers the opportunity to work across a diverse range of projects, supporting site teams and operational management in driving high standards of SHEQ performance.
The Key Responsibilities of the SHEQ Advisor:
- Provide SHEQ support and guidance across multiple live infrastructure projects
- Conduct site inspections, audits and assurance activities
- Support project teams with risk management, safe systems of work and compliance requirements
- Assist with incident investigations and ensure lessons learned are communicated across the business
- Review RAMS, construction phase plans and contractor documentation
- Support the ongoing development of the company's safety culture and behavioural programmes
- Build strong relationships with operational teams, clients and key stakeholders
- Support compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards
The SHEQ Advisor will have:
Experience in a Health and Safety role within the construction or infrastructure sector.
