About the Role: An opportunity has arisen for an experienced HSE Advisor to support the delivery of a major UK infrastructure project Sizewell C, on the Suffolk coast. The role will support site leadership and operational teams to deliver high standards of health, safety and environmental performance across complex construction and marine activities. Working closely with the HSE Manager, you will play a key role in embedding a strong safety culture, ensuring legal and contractual compliance, and supporting the safe planning and execution of works in a highly regulated environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the implementation of the project Health & Safety strategy
  • Provide competent HSE advice to site management, supervisors and operational teams
  • Ensure compliance with UK HSE legislation, CDM 2015 and project standards
  • Promote a positive safety culture and challenge unsafe behaviours
  • Maintain a strong site presence, coaching and mentoring teams
  • Deliver site inductions, toolbox talks and task‐specific safety briefings
  • Assist with internal and external audits and continuous improvement activities
  • Liaise with clients, regulators, subcontractors and supply chain partners
  • Contribute to monthly HSE reporting and performance data

What we’re looking for:

  • NEBOSH General or Construction Certificate
  • CSCS Card (Managers & Professionals)
  • Experience within construction or civil engineering environments
  • Strong working knowledge of UK H&S legislation and CDM 2015
  • Confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills
