We’re recruiting for an experienced Store & Stock Controller to join a well-established manufacturing and logistics business in Poole. This hands-on role is key to managing the storage, security, and flow of materials and customer goods on site.
Key Duties
- Receive, check, and record incoming goods and materials.
- Maintain accurate stock records and conduct regular stock takes.
- Issue stock, tools, and materials to colleagues as required.
- Liaise with suppliers and internal teams regarding deliveries and stock levels.
- Support dispatch operations and ensure all goods leave site correctly.
- Keep the storeroom secure, tidy, and organised.
- Occasionally assist with packing, deliveries, and general warehouse duties.
Skills & Experience
- Experience in stock control, warehousing, or stores management.
- Strong attention to detail and good organisational skills.
- Competent with Microsoft Excel and basic IT systems.
- Forklift licence desirable (training can be provided).
- Full UK driving licence.
- Flexible and proactive attitude with good teamwork skills.
