We are working with a well-established manufacturing and logistics company in Poole who are looking for a Manufacturing Operative, Production Operative, Assembler, or Packer to join their growing team. About the Role
You will play a key role in the production process, focusing on the manufacture, production and packing of high-quality wooden cases and crates for customers. This is a hands-on role, perfect for someone who enjoys practical work and takes pride in precision and quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assembling and packing wooden cases and crates accurately and efficiently
- Using hand and power tools to cut, shape, and prepare wooden components
- Shrink wrapping, palletising, and boxing products for dispatch
- Operating mechanical handling equipment for loading and unloading
- Maintaining workshop cleanliness and supporting general maintenance
- Occasionally assisting with deliveries and collections
- Supporting the Production Manager with daily production tasks
