About the Role: We are looking for a reliable, experienced driver to join our team. This role is temp to perm, with opportunities to transition to a permanent position for the right candidate. The role involves business-to-business deliveries, serving high-end customers, including take-away shops. Exceptional customer service is essential, as well as a professional and presentable appearance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Complete deliveries in Poole and surrounding areas.
- Adapt to different routes when required, depending on staffing needs.
- Provide friendly, efficient customer service.
- Maintain the vehicle's cleanliness and ensure it is well-looked after.
- Perform minimal warehouse duties, including loading the vehicle and validating order checks.
- Start at 06:30, loading and departing for either city or out-of-town routes.
- Physically load vehicles, ensuring accuracy and safety.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in delivery driving, preferably in London.
- Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
- Physically fit and capable of manual loading.
- Presentable, reliable, and adaptable.
- Flexibility with start times and overtime (occasionally exceeding 37.5 hours).
- No Sunday working; rare Saturday work (paid at time and a half).
