Come make a real difference as our Senior Stock Condition Surveyor. As our Senior Stock Condition Surveyor, you'll help us understand the condition of our tenant's homes as we deliver this for people across Gloucestershire and the Forest of Dean. You'll lead and coordinate our stock condition survey programme, using your experience to make sure the process runs smoothly and that we collect high-quality data. Managing our team of surveyors, you'll oversee the quality assurance (QA) processes and provide analysis to inform investment planning and compliance. You'll also support activities as part of the wider asset management team.

What you'll bring to our team:

  • A confident leader, with strong technical surveying expertise and experience delivering stock condition surveys.
  • The right knowledge and qualifications to provide sound building pathology advice, and preparing schedules of work, specifications, and reports.
  • A clear understanding of health and safety, CDM regulations, and contractor compliance.
  • Experience undertaking EPCs, HHSRS inspections, and disrepair investigations.
  • Customer-focused and collaborative, working effectively with stakeholders while supporting operational planning, risk management, and budget awareness.
  • Acting as a positive brand ambassador and remaining flexible in responding to changing operational needs.

What we're looking for:

  • Significant experience in building defect identification and stock condition surveying - Essential.
  • Knowledge of building construction, maintenance, and building pathology - Essential.
  • Qualifications: Construction-related degree or equivalent - Essential.
  • Domestic Energy Assessment qualification - Essential.
  • P405 Asbestos Management - Desirable.
  • SMSTS - Desirable.
  • NEBOSH Construction Health & Safety Management - Desirable.
