About the Role
Come make a real difference as one of our Neighbourhood Managers! Everyone should have a warm, safe, affordable home. As part of our neighbourhood team, you’ll play a starring role in making this a reality for thousands of people living in our communities.
Responsibilities
The housing team is the heartbeat of our organisation. As one of our Neighbourhood Managers, you’ll act as a customer champion, advocating for our tenants and working with the wider team and external partners to get them the support they need. You will work hard to make sure our customers are supported and able to sustain their tenancies, build communities, and make sure our neighbourhoods are places where our tenants can thrive. Spending your days out and about in our communities, you’ll be highly visible and the first point of contact for the tenants in your patch. You’ll welcome tenants to their new home, complete the sign‑up process and make sure they have everything they need to feel at home. It will be your job to really get to know our tenants, understand their needs, and make sure their voices are heard across the organisation.

Qualifications & Skills
You’ll be committed to building positive relationships and taking ownership of the issues and queries tenants raise with you. You’ll work with the team and external partners to make sure these are resolved, keeping tenants updated. You’ll get to know the tenants in your patch and develop a deep understanding of their needs and the needs of the wider community, working together to prioritise and address these. As a true customer champion, you’ll take a human‑centric approach, implementing reasonable adjustments where required to make sure you are providing equitable services for our tenants. A customer champion that will fight to get our tenants the support that they need. Experienced in working in challenging customer‑facing situations, with excellent communication, diplomacy and customer service resolution and negotiation skills. Proven understanding and experience in delivering statutory housing services or similar services. The ability to listen and learn, but most importantly, to act on what you’re hearing.
