Everyone should have a warm, safe, affordable home. As our Head of Income, you’ll play a key role in making this a reality for thousands of families in Gloucestershire and the surrounding areas.

You’ll be part of the senior management team, leading high-quality lettings, income collection and service charges teams and delivering plans to support our Customer and Digital Strategies. You’ll take ownership for the success of your teams as they support tenants in the important journey of moving home, setting tenants up for success in their homes, manage a range of tenancy accounts, and support tenants that fall into arrears with an aim to keep them in their homes.

Driving a culture of accountability and visibility you’ll inspire your teams to put tenants at the heart of what they do and help build trusted relationships.

What you’ll bring to our team

As a member of the Senior Management Group, you’ll identify and mitigate risks, ensuring that we meet our legal, compliance and regulatory obligations in your area of expertise. You’ll be able to recognise areas for improvement and regularly review and develop your teams’ policies and procedures. You’ll deliver ambitious plans and effectively manage your budget to ensure Value for Money.

What we are looking for

  • Strong understanding of income, service charges and lettings, including tenancy management is essential. (minimum of three years). An experienced senior manager, who has led multi-disciplined teams.
  • Highly developed skills in tenancy management for all tenure and lease types.
  • A clear understanding of safeguarding in relation to vulnerable adults and children.
  • Excellent strategic and analytical skills.

Qualifications

  • Chartered Institute of Housing qualified or equivalent.
  • Evidence of continued professional development.
  • Full UK driving license with access to a vehicle insured for business purposes.
