As a Finance Assistant at Two Rivers Housing, you’ll join a friendly and collaborative team where your work genuinely makes a difference. You’ll play a key role in keeping our financial operations running smoothly—processing purchase invoices, reconciling supplier statements, managing payment runs, and maintaining accurate supplier accounts.
Every day will bring something different. You’ll manage our busy accounts mailbox, build strong relationships with colleagues and suppliers, and help resolve a wide range of queries. You’ll also support broader team activities such as managing petty cash, assisting with month‑end processes, updating journals, and supporting our Procurement team—giving you valuable exposure across the whole finance function.
You don’t need previous finance experience to succeed in this role—we’ll fully support your learning and development. What matters most is that you bring strong customer service skills, solid administration experience, and a keen eye for detail. If you enjoy helping people, staying organised, and working in busy and engaging working environment, this could be an excellent next step for you.
You’ll use a range of systems and tools, work closely with teams across the organisation, and play a vital part in ensuring our financial processes are timely, accurate, and reliable.
This role is based at our Rivers Meet office in Newent, and after your training period you’ll enjoy the flexibility of a hybrid working pattern—giving you the best of both teamwork and home working.
