Responsibilities
- Work closely with design and art to implement gameplay features from initial design through to testing and iteration.
- Write clean, maintainable, and robust code in Unity and C#.
- Implement and refine gameplay systems, responding to feedback and playtesting.
- Help maintain code quality and follow established technical standards.
- Plan and estimate your own tasks within an agile development process.
- Contribute positively to team discussions, problem-solving, and feature reviews.
Requirements / Qualifications
- Solid practical experience with Unity and C#.
- Around 5 years of professional game development experience (or equivalent demonstrable skill).
- Good understanding of core programming practices, including Source control, Debugging and testing, Code structure and reuse, Basic awareness of performance (CPU and memory).
- Strong soft skills, including communication, teamwork, time management, and problem-solving.
- A proactive attitude and willingness to learn and improve.
- Of course, a love for games!
The ideal candidate would have:
- Experience or interest in AI or gameplay systems.
- Some experience with performance optimisation in Unity.
- At least one shipped commercial game.
- Exposure to console development.
- Basic 3D maths or graphics knowledge.
