Two IP is a full-service intellectual property (IP) firm with our HQ in Leamington Spa but our team is spread across the country. We operate a fee-share consultancy model that enables patent and trade mark attorneys to build their own IP practice under the Two IP brand while benefiting from the support and expertise of the Two IP team. We provide a fully integrated ecosystem of back-office expertise to our consultant attorneys that includes IT, marketing, case management, paralegal, financial and BD support - all designed to create a productive and collaborative working environment.

This is a part-time, remote/hybrid role for a CITMA Trade Mark Paralegal at Two IP. The role includes:

  • Client onboarding
  • File opening
  • Filing trade mark applications
  • Trade mark renewals
  • Docketing correspondence and deadlines
  • Preparing draft reporting emails from templates
  • Generating invoices
  • Maintaining IPMS records and monitoring deadlines
  • Assisting consultant attorneys with queries

Qualifications

  • Experienced trade mark administrator/paralegal
  • Qualification as a CITMA Paralegal is desirable
  • Strong skills in filing trade mark applications at UK IPO and WIPO (knowledge of filing at EUIPO also desirable) and docketing/reporting prosecution stages
  • Proficiency in reviewing and docketing IPO and overseas associate originating correspondence
  • Experience in preparing document bundles for oppositions is a plus
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills to monitor and adhere to deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and remotely
  • Strong experience of using an online case/IP management system - prior experience with Equinox IPMS is a plus
