A little background: Having just hit our 18th year anniversary, we are a well-established independent digital marketing agency based in Leatherhead, Surrey. We are a creatively led company driven by a collective passion for creating innovative digital campaigns that ensure clients achieve maximum engagement. We are a team of 20 made up of supportive, friendly, and fun specialists who have a keen interest in digital media. We were voted 51st in Design Week's Top 100 UK independent agencies.
Our clients are some of the largest global brands within their respective sectors with a wide variety of briefs to ensure no two days are the same! We are looking for a digital designer to join our expanding creative team. You would be working as part of a close-knit team designing a range of digital media – from websites and emails to data visualisation, animated banner ads, infographics, and video storyboards. In addition to the design team, you would work with a talented team of in-house developers who will bring your vision to life.
As part of your role, you would have a good understanding of how people interact with websites, the technical challenges of designing for email and creating effective banner ads. Motion Graphics experience would be an advantage. This is an exciting opportunity to grow with the agency and build upon your own skillsets and further your career. The role is hybrid based 4 days a week at our office in Leatherhead, Surrey. The ideal candidate would ideally be located in Surrey or the surrounding areas and already be located in the UK.
The job role:
- Liaise with the project team and developers to create effective designs across all aspects of digital media.
- Conceptualise ideas and campaigns from client briefs.
- Ability to take complex stories and turn into digestible formats.
- Create video storyboards from a client supplied script.
- Create UX focused wireframes for website redesigns.
- Understand principles and technical limitations of email design.
- Storyboard and produce motion graphics.
- Confidently present your vision and ideas both internally and to clients.
- Based in the office in Leatherhead, Surrey.
Skillsets:
- Be able to demonstrate creating digital focused designs and content.
- Proven experience designing with the user in mind.
- Experience designing impactful and striking animations for digital banner ads.
- Knowledge of the technical limits within different digital areas - email, web etc.
- Excellent Figma, Photoshop and Illustrator skills (After Effects experience would be an advantage!).
- Must have a meticulous eye for detail and accuracy.
- Strong attention organisation skills.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Have a good understanding of digital production.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Salary and Benefits:
