As a Workplace Technology Engineer at Two Circles, you will look after the tools and technologies our two circlers use remotely and in our offices to successfully rewire sports. We run a mixture of Windows and Mac devices and leverage a variety of SAAS applications across our 15 locations. Those sites have minimal on-prem infrastructure other than collaboration tech and 3rd party commodity networking to assist hybrid working.
As a broader part of our Technology Operations team, this role works with our Service Delivery Manager, Support Technicians, Information Security and other data and engineering specialists to share knowledge and deliver the best experience to our wider business. This role provides ample opportunities to influence the direction of Two Circles Technology Operations strategy, own the delivery of a wide range of work, and further develop your own knowledge of technologies, systems, approaches and practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Administering and optimising Microsoft 365 services including Entra ID, Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams and OneDrive.
- Managing Microsoft Intune for device provisioning, configuration, compliance and lifecycle management (Windows and macOS).
- Supporting onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring secure and seamless access to systems.
- Troubleshooting complex user, device and cloud service issues.
- Contributing to IT standards, documentation and continuous service improvement.
- Assisting in delivery of IT projects and rollout of new tools or enhancements.
- Investigating and responding to phishing, compromised accounts, malware and suspicious activity.
- Leading containment and remediation efforts across identity and endpoints.
- Documenting incidents and refining response playbooks.
- Reviewing and improving secure configuration baselines across Microsoft 365 and endpoints.
- Supporting patch management and vulnerability remediation.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of 2nd line experience in IT support within a service desk or equivalent environment.
- Strong leadership abilities, with a track record of inspiring and developing others.
- Strong experience with macOS and Windows endpoint management (Intune and Iru desirable).
- For Microsoft 365, skills and experience should include areas such as the creation of Conditional Access Policies, working with and creating Intune Policies as well as standard Day-to-Day Administration and support experience.
- Considerable knowledge of Microsoft Office / Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel).
- Experience with Identity and Access Management in Microsoft 365 – this includes SSO, MFA and user provisioning.
- Ability to work with Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, Defender for Cloud and other services to detect, investigate and respond to threats.
- Clear, confident communicator (written and verbal), calm under pressure and highly organised.
