Two Circles is a Sports & Entertainment Marketing business that grows audiences and revenues for a global portfolio of clients, including the English Premier League, Red Bull, UEFA, VISA, NFL, Nike and Amazon. With over 1,000 employees across 15 offices, we deliver work for sports and entertainment businesses worldwide. We are expanding our Software Engineering team and are looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer to join us in London on a hybrid basis. This is an opportunity to work on high-impact greenfield products for some of the world’s most iconic sports brands, shape the future of fan engagement, and provide technical leadership across cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Write clean, reusable code and set coding standards and team conventions.
- Advocate for developer experience and continuously improve it.
- Encourage a blameless culture of continuous improvement and technical excellence.
- Lead and influence technical design, architecture, and development of digital projects.
- Collaborate with Engineering Managers, Engineering Leads, and Product Managers to understand problems and define technical scope for global sports properties.
- Set up software development frameworks for release management, automation, code quality, and source control.
- Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and guidance to other Two Circles engineers.
- Stay current on emerging technologies and trends in sports technology.
- Attend the London office at least 2 days a week; occasional travel to other London and EMEA offices may be required.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in software engineering.
- High proficiency in TypeScript, React and Next.js; Node.js experience desirable.
- Experience in CI/CD environments (CircleCI, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, etc.).
- Understanding of DevOps and platform engineering; experience with Azure, AWS or GCP.
- Agile development practices, continuous integration, and test automation (unit, integration, contract, E2E).
- Experience monitoring application performance and health with Grafana, Prometheus, DataDog, Sentry, etc.
- Strong advocacy for performant applications and pragmatic problem-solving.
- Excellent communication skills across diverse audiences.
- Desirable experience building services for high-traffic systems.
