We work with some of the world’s biggest sports organisations – including the NFL, Premier League, Formula 1, AFL, Wimbledon and UEFA – and have been named Sport Industry Agency of the Year on more than four occasions.We have a team of over 950 Two Circlers working from 14 cities across APAC, North America, and EMEA, serving our expanding international client base.Data is at the center of our approach – helping clients to get a better understanding of their customers and deliver insights that influence top-level decision-making.From there, we develop digital products and integrate data and technology solutions that grow audiences and revenue across ticketing, participation, sponsorship and media.Role Description:As a part of our ongoing growth, we are expanding our software engineering capability and looking for an experienced Senior Android Engineer to join our London office andlead from the front in the technical design, setup, and implementation of digital products and solutions for our clients.You will play a pivotal role in the establishment of cross functional engineering practices, tooling and culture as the team is established and continues to grow.You will have a proven track record of delivering best-in-class digital products whilst solving complex engineering problems. We are looking for a team player who is able to mentor and upskill other engineers whilst setting the bar for best practice.If this sounds like you, then lets talk!Key ResponsibilitiesWork closely with Engineering Managers, Engineering Leads and ProductManagers to understand problems and define technical scope for global sports properties.You will be hands on, building and delivering end-to-end solutions for clientswhilst encompassing and establishing best practices in coding standards.Leading and influencing the design of software architecture both in house and alongside clients.You will be active in the hiring of other Software Engineers whilst helping refine and improve the process.Being an advocate for developer experience and a keen interest in continually improving it.Encouraging a blameless culture of continuous improvement and technical excellence.This is a hybrid role where you are expected to be in our London office for 2 days a week and occasionally travel to client offices in London and EMEA.Your SkillsWhat we are looking for:A minimum of 5+ years experience in Android development.A high level of proficiency and understanding of Kotlin.Strong architectural knowledge (SOLID principles, clean architecture etc) and passionate about writing clean, modular and testable code.A passion for delivering high quality UI/UX that scales to all screen sizes using Jetpack Compose.Experience in a CI / CD environment where you have utilised tools such as Bitrise, Circle CI, GitHub actions or Azure DevOps etc.You have experience in monitoring the performance and analytics of your applications with tools like Firebase, Sentry, Mix Panel, Google Analytics etc.Nice To Have:KMM (Kotlin Multiplatform Mobile) Two Circles is committed to creating a diverse environment and is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
