We are seeking a Finance Business Partner to join our Finance team. As a Finance Business Partner, you will play a key role in liaising between the Finance department and various divisions. This role is responsible for delivering financial analysis, forecasting, and strategic support to drive informed decision-making, enhance financial performance, and achieve business objectives. The role will report into the Head of FP&A. We are seeking someone with strong attention to detail, analytical mindset, and a passion for the sports industry.
What you would be getting up to:
- Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting for allocated division, including monthly management accounts and ad hoc reports.
- Collaborate with division leaders to prepare budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial plans.
- Provide detailed financial analysis, including variance analysis, financial modelling, and scenario planning.
- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring alignment between financial goals and business objectives.
- Assist with year-end audit queries.
- Assist with integrating finance operations across new acquisitions.
- Ad-hoc financial projects as needed.
Requirements
The ideal background and skills we are looking for include:
- Qualified accountant (ACA/CIMA/ACCA or equivalent).
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Experience dealing with high volumes of work and remaining organised.
- Good verbal and written communication.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced, ever changing environment.
- An ability to build strong working relationships with all levels of business.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
