We are Two Circles, a Sports & Entertainment Marketing business. We grow audiences and revenues by knowing fans best. We work with clients to help them understand and influence what their fans are doing – the way fans spend their money, the events that fans attend, the channels fans respond to, the content fans watch and more. We use this understanding to help our clients grow their audiences and revenues - both direct to consumer and business to business revenues. Our platforms and services are trusted by over **** clients globally, including the English Premier League, Red Bull, UEFA, VISA, the NFL, Nike and Amazon. We are over **** people, based out of 15ferenz, and we deliver work for sports and entertainment businesses of all shapes and sizes all over the world.

Two Circles has built a bespoke Data Management & Data Analytics Platform. This platform is used to deploy highly configurable data flows that enable fan segmentation, data analytics, multi-channel marketing automation, highly personalised digital products, and data-driven B2C premium sales. Working with some of the biggest rights holders in the world, you will be responsible for implementing components of this platform. This will require you to work with our Product and Data & BI Engineering teams to build a deep understanding of the Platform and, subsequently, our Consulting teams to implement each individual client's requirements through solution consulting, technical design and platform implementation, playing a vital role in our client's digital transformation.

Your main duties & responsibilities include:

  • Working with our Consulting, Product and Data & BI Engineering Teams to define the client requirements.
  • Designing an end-to-end data flow to meet those requirements, focusing on articulating technical requirements to Consulting teams based on features and functionality available in the Platform.
  • Creating a detailed technical document to support the solution.
  • Challenging the requirements given to deliver the best solution for Clients to deliver maximum value.
  • Identifying feature gaps within the Platform and working with our Product and Data & BI Engineering Teams to scope the development required to fulfil these feature gaps.
  • Using our bespoke Data Management Hub to implement the client solution, involving configuration of data ingestion, data mapping, opt-in tracking, customer matching, client-facing analytics dashboards and integrations with third-party software.
  • Using tools like SQL, Databricks and Azure Data Factory to test and reconcile the data after it has been integrated.
  • Working with our Tech Ops Team to transition the clients into live support.
  • Working with our Consulting and Delivery Management teams to develop and enhance processes.

The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:

  • Requirements gathering and documentation in a Business Analyst or Systems Analyst role.
  • Experience analysing data, ideally using SQL or Python and with an understanding of relational databases.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to understand and adapt communications based on the audience and to clearly articulate their understanding of problems and solutions.
  • Process definition and documentation.
  • Proven experience with building, reviewing and improving processes and tooling to aid the efficiency of projects.
  • Experience with project management tools such as Jira.
  • Experience of working with end Platform users to scope and define solutions and translating these into technical requirements.
  • Desire to learn about new technology and the sports industry.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Willingness to work with some level of ambiguity.
  • Take great pride in your own work, setting high personal standards.
  • Demonstrate drive and determination to deliver for clients.
