Responsibilities
Working with our Consulting, Product and Data & BI Engineering Teams to define the client requirements. Design an end-to-end data flow to meet those requirements, with a focus on articulating technical requirements to Consulting teams based on features and functionality available in the Platform. Create a detailed technical document to support the solution. Challenge the requirements given to deliver the best solution for clients and deliver maximum value. Identify feature gaps within the Platform and work with our Product and Data & BI Engineering Teams to scope the development needed to fulfil these gaps. Use our bespoke Data Management Hub to implement the client solution, including configuration of data ingestion, data mapping, opt‑in tracking, customer matching, client‑facing analytics dashboards and integrations with third‑party software. Use tools like SQL, Databricks and Azure Data Factory to test and reconcile the data after integration. Work with our Tech Ops Team to transition clients into live support and with our Consulting and Delivery Management teams to develop and enhance processes.
Qualifications / Desired Skills
- Up to 2 years of experience in requirements gathering and documentation in a Business Analyst or Systems Analyst role.
- Experience analyzing data, ideally using SQL or Python, with an understanding of relational databases.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to adapt communications based on the audience and clearly articulate problems and solutions.
- Process definition and documentation.
- Proven experience building, reviewing and improving processes and tooling to aid project efficiency.
- Experience with project management tools such as Jira.
- Experience working with end‑platform users to scope and define solutions and translating these into technical requirements.
The above skills are important and will help significantly with the role. There will also be a lot of new technologies and processes to work with, so the right attitude is the most important factor. A desire to learn about new technology and the sports industry, excellent problem‑solving skills, willingness to work with some level of ambiguity, taking great pride in your own work and setting high personal standards, as well as demonstrating drive and determination to deliver for clients.
