Legal Counsel

We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Legal Counsel (2+ PQE) who is motivated by working in the sports and entertainment industry to join our team. Our Legal Team plays a key role in this fast-paced, high-growth and entrepreneurial organisation at the heart of the sports industry, enabling the business across all clients, teams, and geographies. Legal Counsel Responsibilities:

• Providing a broad range of valuable legal advice, with a particular focus on supporting our Content capability.
• Developing wide expertise as a generalist in-house counsel and advising colleagues across other areas of law as required.
• Leading impactful business change programmes, such as innovative implementation of legal tech & AI tools.

Requirements:

• 2+ PQE of legal experience, ideally with in-house experience or in private practice in a leading commercial/TMT team.
• Qualified to practice law in England and Wales or other appropriate jurisdiction.
• Experience working in-house (including on secondment with a business in the sports or entertainment industries) is a plus.
• A proven problem solver with a willingness to dive into ambiguous issues and situations.
• Exceptional attention to detail alongside effective written and oral communication skills.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Previous sports, media, and/or entertainment industry experience is desirable.
• A strong understanding of the business of sports and entertainment.
• International legal experience and/or any foreign language ability to a working professional standard would be a plus.
• Demonstrable experience or interest in legal tech & AI tools, legal ops, and innovation.
