We are Two Circles, a Sports & Entertainment Marketing business. We grow audiences and revenues by understanding fans best. We work with clients to help them understand and influence fan behaviour, including spending habits, event attendance, and content consumption. Our platforms and services are trusted by over 900 clients globally, including the English Premier League, Red Bull, UEFA, VISA, the NFL, Nike, and Amazon. We are almost 1000 people, based out of 14 offices, delivering work for sports and entertainment businesses worldwide.

As part of our ongoing growth, we are looking to expand our Data Ops and Engineering team, innovate our technology stack, and mature our current ways of working. This mid-level Agile Delivery Manager role is critical in driving this innovation forward while ensuring we continue to deliver high-quality work for our clients.

The Agile Delivery Manager is responsible for:

  • Leading and implementing Agile principles while working alongside Developers.
  • Acting as a facilitator to remove blockers and enable ease of working using Agile principles.
  • Ensuring successful delivery by the technology team.
  • Working closely with client-facing teams to ensure understanding of high-impact and detailed requirements.
  • Using experience of high-level planning and a detail-oriented approach to guide and manage the team towards success.
  • Overseeing and keeping up to date all team duties, ensuring delivery milestones are met.
  • Maintaining and developing positive working relationships with stakeholders and colleagues.
  • Supporting and empowering multi-disciplined teams.
  • Identifying and managing risks, issues, and dependencies.
  • Facilitating, coordinating, and managing SCRUM ceremonies.
  • Encouraging a culture of continuous improvement and championing an agile mindset.
  • Overseeing successful delivery into production.
  • Leading, influencing, and coaching others on best practice Agile methodologies.

Requirements:

  • 2 years experience in delivery.
  • Proven experience leading delivery within software development or technical engineering.
  • Significant knowledge of introducing and coaching Agile methodologies and frameworks like Scrum, Kanban, and Lean.
  • Hands-on knowledge configuring and using tools that support agile and collaborative working, e.g., Jira, Confluence.
  • Good understanding of the holistic lifecycle of Software Development and previous experience of implementing DevOps practices.
  • Excellent facilitation skills and change management experience.
  • Great interpersonal and communication skills and a passion for Agile.
  • An analytical mindset with a passion for data.

Experience with the following would also be beneficial:

  • Technical understanding of BI solutions and a Cloud Data stack.
  • Experience of, or a keen interest in, the business of sport.
