TPF Recruitment, Kentβs leading accountancy practice recruitment agency has a fantastic Mixed Tax Manager opportunity with an excellent chartered accountancy practice based in Sevenoaks. This chartered firm of accountants has developed a very strong reputation across Kent, the South and nationally, acting for some very interesting and growing businesses within the entrepreneurial and technology sectors.
This is a really exciting position where you will get experience across all areas of corporate tax including specialist areas such as EIS, EMI and R&D, but will also have the opportunity to be involved in restructuring and corporate finance tax work too. In addition to the corporate work, there is an opportunity to oversee a personal tax portfolio too, but the position can be built around the candidate's experience and aspirations.
A large proportion of the position can be moulded around the right candidate but your primary responsibilities will be to:
- Assisting with tax advisory work including EIS and share schemes
- Helping with mergers, acquisitions, reorganisations and tax due diligence
- Preparation of R&D tax relief claims
- Preparing corporation tax computations and returns for larger, more complex companies/groups
- Overseeing and reviewing the more basic corporation tax compliance function to ensure deadlines are met
- Supervision of more junior members of staff
- Opportunity to also oversee a personal tax portfolio encompassing compliance and IHT planning

Requirements:
- You will be any of ACA/ACCA/ATT/CTA qualified or qualified by experience with a career background in corporate tax or a mixed tax background.
- You will have advisory/planning tax experience, gained within an accounting firm, or tax boutique firm of any size.
- Your background will have been developed within a firm of any size environment from small independent through to Top Tier firm background and you will be looking for a career move offering development and progression potential.
Β£55,000 - Β£75,000 dependent on experience and background, negotiable. 25 days annual leave, plus bank holidays, life insurance, private medical, company pension, employee assistance programme, parking, and additional flexible benefits. Part-time applicants will also be considered.
