We are currently looking for a dependable, hardworking, and detail‑oriented Cleaner to join our friendly nursery team. This is an important role within our setting, helping to ensure that the nursery remains clean, safe, hygienic, and welcoming for children, staff, and visitors. The successful candidate will take pride in maintaining high cleaning standards and will be able to work independently and efficiently during evening hours after the nursery closes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cleaning and sanitising nursery rooms and shared spaces
  • Cleaning toilets, sinks, and changing areas to a high standard
  • Vacuuming carpets and mopping floors
  • Dusting and wiping down surfaces, furniture, and equipment
  • Emptying bins and disposing of waste appropriately
  • Restocking cleaning and hygiene supplies where needed
  • Ensuring all areas are kept safe, tidy, and hygienic
  • Following nursery health & safety and infection control procedures
  • Reporting any maintenance or safety concerns to management

The Ideal Candidate Will:

  • Be reliable, punctual, and trustworthy
  • Have good attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness
  • Be able to work independently and manage time effectively
  • Have previous cleaning experience (preferred but not essential)
