I am working with an established software group that is particularly active in the energy, education and AI markets. As they continue to grow, they are searching for a motivated .NET Developer to join the delivery of innovative software solutions from start-ups to global brands.
As Senior Software Engineer, you will work with the ASP.NET MVC framework to build and maintain applications and services critical to their key clients. You will work with Postgres and Azure SQL databases, and engage with Azure Functions to deliver scalable, cloud-based features. The development process involves pair programming with Senior Engineers to accelerate your learning and growth.
This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious developer to refine their skills in a supportive, forward-thinking environment.
Key skills required
Foundation in ASP.NET MVC and C#
Familiarity with relational databases (Postgres and/or Azure SQL)
Basic understanding of Azure Functions and how serverless functions interact with databases and other services
Some exposure to CI/CD processes, ideally with Azure DevOps
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration and pair programming.
A proactive attitude, open to learning, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
Nice-to-Have Skills
Understanding of additional Azure services (e.g., Azure App Service, Azure Service Bus).
Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban)
Experience with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) for basic UI tasks.
