Role Summary
The Product Analyst manages cross-functional initiatives of strategic or regulatory importance. This role coordinates and ensures that projects move forward, interacting with teams across ICB and other lines of business, securing stakeholder decisions, and keeping teams focused on completion dates. Projects are diverse, may arise without advance warning with tight deadlines, and can be Agile, Waterfall, or a hybrid of both. The Product Office consists of Product and Technical Programme managers working to build something new from the ground up within a diverse and inclusive team. We are looking for a Product Analyst who is intellectually curious, self‑motivated, enthusiastic, and a tenacious self‑starter and would like to expand their skills while working on an exciting new venture for the firm.
Responsibilities
- Produce high quality presentations in PowerPoint, compiling inputs from stakeholders, reviewing, understanding and challenging the content as required.
- Develop metrics and filters in Jira/Confluence to provide meaningful tracking, analysis and reporting.
- Manage, track and elevate risks and issues to the plan.
- Ensure that program governance and best practices are followed in line with business standards and procedures.
- Proactively identify, define, and enhance processes and procedures.
- Demonstrate the use of AI to streamline and optimize ways of working.
- Support and manage the coordination and management of initiatives as required.
Skills / Qualifications
- Excellent written and oral communication skills with strong attention to detail.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft suite of applications, especially PowerPoint and Excel.
- Excellent organisational skills with ability to prioritise and multi‑task within tight deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal and influencing skills with experience in managing senior stakeholders while dealing with urgent or changing priorities.
- Strong analytical skills with ability to synthesize information, mentally link interdependent topics and present succinctly.
- Effective partnership with Risk, Legal, InfoSec, and Controls.
- Detail‑oriented and organised, able to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
- Awareness of Lean/Agile/Waterfall practices and understanding when to use them pragmatically.
- Previous experience in project or product management and using the Atlassian suite of applications – Jira and Confluence is a plus.
- Previous experience with cloud technologies and digital banking products would be advantageous.
