As a Product Control Associate in Product Control, you partner with trading desks and controllers to deliver timely and accurate profit and loss, balance sheet, and close processes. You ensure data integrity, strengthen controls, and translate results into clear, actionable narratives for senior leaders. You collaborate across functions to resolve issues, improve processes, and enable new business initiatives. Together, we build robust reporting that our stakeholders trust.

Job responsibilities

  • Prepare daily profit and loss reports and support month-end close activities
  • Analyze financial results and deliver concise reporting to desk leaders and senior finance
  • Partner with business teams to implement robust controls and support new initiatives
  • Coordinate across front and back office functions to resolve reporting and control issues
  • Serve as an analytical resource for product control and related projects
  • Respond to ad hoc requests with timely, data-driven insights
  • Lead or contribute to projects that improve profit and loss reporting and close processes
  • Produce weekly and monthly metrics with clear commentary for senior management
  • Document processes and enhance control frameworks to mitigate risk
  • Identify automation and efficiency opportunities to streamline reporting
  • Maintain strong stakeholder relationships through clear, proactive communication

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Relevant experience in product control, financial control, accounting, audit, or a related field
  • Hands-on experience with profit and loss reporting and month-end close processes
  • Strong analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail and control focus
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven ability to build effective working relationships across teams
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools
  • Ability to prioritize and execute in a fast-paced environment
  • Problem-solving mindset with ownership and follow-through
  • Familiarity with balance sheet substantiation and variance analysis
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business, or a related discipline

  • Exposure to control design, testing, and remediation
  • Experience with visualization tools to develop management metrics and commentary
