Twinkle Stars Montessori is a small, family-run Montessori pre-school in New Barnet, established 10 years ago. We are now expanding with a brand-new toddler room and are looking for a passionate Early Years Practitioner or Montessori Assistant to join our team.
Our goal is to provide outstanding Montessori education for children aged 12 months to 5 years in a safe and nurturing environment.

Job Description
We are seeking a qualified, reliable, and passionate Early Years Practitioner or Montessori Teacher to work term-time only. This role is ideal for parents or professionals who prefer to have school holidays off.
Key Responsibilities:
βοΈ Provide guidance and care for children aged 12 months to 3 years
βοΈ Foster independence, holistic development, and curiosity in children
βοΈ Plan and implement engaging lesson plans tailored to individual needs
βοΈ Participate actively in daily routines and activities
βοΈ Monitor, assess, and document children\’s developmental progress
βοΈ Maintain a safe, clean, and organised learning environment
Who Weβre Looking For
β Minimum Level 2 qualification in Early Years Education (CACHE Level 2 or equivalent)
β At least 2 years of experience as a key worker, specifically with babies (12-36 months)
β Knowledge of EYFS requirements
β Montessori qualification is desirable but not essential β we offer training support
β A team player with a nurturing and positive attitude
β Must be willing to undergo an enhanced DBS check and provide references
