Location: UK Only, Fully Remote (Must be UK-based with the Right to Work in the UK)

Annual Salary: £33,000 - £43,000 (Dependent on Experience)

Hours of work: 37.5 hours per week

Contract: 12-month Fixed-Term Contract

As the Education Content Manager for our MENA (Middle East and North Africa) region, you will be the driving force behind shaping and expanding our educational product category across Arabic-speaking countries. This role offers a dynamic blend of high-level strategic direction and hands-on execution: on any given day, you might be analysing regional market trends to define product strategy, collaborating with product team managers to ensure high-quality content delivery, and steering targeted newsletter campaigns to connect directly with educators. Key Responsibilities:

Category Strategy Development:

  • Work with Education Content Leads to develop and implement comprehensive narrow category strategies that connect our educational content and ensure everything links together smoothly and aligns with overall brand objectives and market trends.

  • Identify growth opportunities and create plans to capitalise on them.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive strategy execution.

Market Analysis:

  • Conduct thorough market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and potential risks across the MENA region category.

  • Analyse sales data, consumer behaviour, and market dynamics to inform category strategies.

  • Monitor industry developments and adjust strategies accordingly.

Product Management:

  • Work closely with the product team leaders and managers to ensure efficient production and high-quality resources.

Brand Positioning and Promotion:

  • Manage key partnerships and accreditations for the MENA category, making sure we’re hitting all the right notes and giving educators the assurance that our content is top quality.

    • Influence the market by promoting our content through thought leadership. Stay on top of market trends and make sure we're always in a strong position.

    • Communicate and advertise content lines through weekly newsletters in all Arabic-speaking countries and through social channels.

  • Develop and execute marketing plans and campaigns to promote category products.

  • Collaborate with the marketing and international teams to create compelling content and messaging.

  • Ensure consistent brand positioning and messaging across all channels.

  • Be a thought leader in your area

  • Manage strong partnerships and resource accreditation where appropriate.

Sales Support and Collaboration:

  • Work with the sales team to provide category insights and support sales strategies.

  • Develop sales tools and materials to aid in the effective promotion of category products.

  • Conduct training sessions for sales teams to enhance product knowledge.

What You’ll Need to Succeed

Success in this role requires a strong blend of strategic thinking, market and consumer insight, and leadership and influence to drive impactful decisions. You will need financial acumen, creativity and innovation, and a results-driven mindset to successfully navigate and expand our MENA region educational product category.

You’ll bring a combination of the following:

  • A Bachelor Degree in Education or a Relevant Subject Area (i.e. Arabic Language, English/Arabic Translation, Marketing etc)

  • 5+ years of experience in brand management, category management, or a related role.

  • Fluency in Arabic: Native or bilingual fluency in Arabic (written and spoken) to effectively engage with regional markets, stakeholders, and educational content.

  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful category strategies.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and market trends.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.

  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and relevant marketing software/tools.

  • Highly organised with strong project management skills.
