Join Our Engineering Evolution at Twinkl

At Twinkl, we’re not just building software - we’re transforming how millions of educators and learners interact with educational content and resources worldwide. By creating adaptable, comprehensive learning tools, we’re breaking down educational barriers. We believe in empowering the next generation with the skills and resources they need to succeed, no matter their geographic or economic background.

We’re not just sharing resources; we’re building a global learning community. As we scale our platform to serve parents, teachers, and students across the globe, we’re seeking exceptional Programme Managers to help drive alignment, clarity, and momentum across our most critical initiatives. We’re in the midst of an exciting transformation, completely rebuilding our experience from the ground up using modern technologies and scalable cloud architecture. Alongside this, we’re evolving how we deliver - moving towards empowered, product-centric teams supported by strong delivery leadership. Fancy working on complex, high-impact programmes where you can genuinely shape how we deliver at scale? That’s exactly what we offer. Our teams are trusted to make the right decisions, and our Programme Managers play a key role in enabling that autonomy while ensuring alignment across the wider organisation.

What will you be doing?

You’ll be enabling brilliant teams to do their best work. We’re talking about coordinating complex initiatives that deliver educational content to millions, aligning multiple teams across different domains, and ensuring we deliver value quickly and effectively.

You’ll operate across squads, working closely with Engineering, Product, Data and wider business stakeholders to create clarity, remove blockers, and keep delivery moving forward. You’ll balance strategic oversight with hands‑on delivery support, ensuring both immediate progress and long-term success.

You’ll be responsible for:

  • Leading the delivery of complex, cross-team programmes that span multiple product, data and engineering areas
  • Creating alignment between teams, stakeholders, and business objectives
  • Establishing and evolving delivery practices that enable teams to scale effectively
  • Managing risks, dependencies, and priorities across multiple workstreams
  • Supporting teams in planning, forecasting, and delivering value iteratively
  • Driving continuous improvement in ways of working, using data and feedback to optimise delivery
  • Communicating clearly with stakeholders at all levels, including senior leadership

You’ll work across initiatives such as:

  • Platform Transformation and Modernisation: Coordinating multiple teams contributing to the rebuild of our core platform, ensuring alignment and delivery momentum.
  • RMS & Metascale:You’ll play a key role in delivering Twinkl’s Metascale and Resource Management System (RMS) initiatives, including the integration of Orange Logic to improve how we organise, manage and share our educational resources.
  • Product Experience: Enabling cross-functional teams to deliver seamless, user-focused improvements across our ecosystem

What do we need from you?

  • Experience delivering complex programmes across multiple teams in a product-led, agile environment
  • A strong track record of driving delivery in engineering-focused organisations, working closely with technical and data science teams
  • Experience managing dependencies, risks, and stakeholders across large-scale initiatives
  • Previous experience implementing or integrating Orange Logic would be especially valuable, although experience with similar platforms is also welcomed.
  • Experience delivering Product Information Management (PIM) or Digital Asset Management (DAM) implementations would be a real advantage, particularly where you’ve led system integrations and supported teams through changes to their ways of working.
  • You’re comfortable operating at both a strategic and hands‑on level - zooming out to see the bigger picture while also helping teams unblock day-to-day challenges
  • You have experience shaping and improving delivery practices, not just following them
  • You are confident working with senior stakeholders and influencing decision‑making
  • You bring a data‑informed approach to delivery, using metrics and insights to guide improvements
  • You value cross‑functional collaboration and thrive in environments where teamwork and communication are key
  • You are passionate about continuous improvement and helping teams perform at their best

What’s in it for you?

  • A friendly, welcoming and supportive culture. We believe work should be fun and always put people before process
  • Flexible working with fully remote and hybrid working options
  • 33 days annual leave per year, pro rata. You decide which public holidays to recognise
  • An additional day of annual leave, a Me Day, to take time for yourself
  • Charity day to volunteer and support a registered charity of your choice
  • Westfield Health (including Health Club discount and Westfield Rewards discount and cashback)
  • Learning and Development opportunities, with opportunities for internal mobility across various departments / areas of the business
  • 4 x annual salary death in service life assurance
  • Quarterly awards designed to reward and recognise our wonderful Twinkl employees
  • Free Twinkl Subscription

At Twinkl, we encourage diversity, and our doors are open to everyone. We’re committed to creating an inclusive workplace for all. If you need any adjustments during the application process to showcase your abilities, please let us know. We’re here to support you on your journey.
