As a fast-growing, mission-driven organisation, we are building a high-impact Strategy & Operations team to help us scale quickly and sustainably with confidence and conviction.
The Opportunity: We are seeking an Operations & Change Manager to join our Strategy and Operations team. This role is about making important things happen and is central to ensuring our operations are scalable and aligned with our strategic goals.
Keep reading if you:
- thrive in fast-paced, high-growth environments
- are a natural problem-solver who can translate complex issues into clear frameworks and actionable steps
- can build cross-functional alignment and a sense of urgency across teams
- possess strong communication skills: clear, concise, and listen well
- lead with empathy to secure ‘buy‑in’ and drive lasting change
Here’s how you will make a direct impact:
- Bridge Strategy to People & Operations and design for scale: Build and implement frameworks that translate high‑level strategy into operational deliverables. You will optimise People, Process, and Tech (PPT) to ensure our operating model is scalable, and supports our people to do their best work.
- Architect Change Management: Lead critical transformations beyond simple project management. You will manage stakeholder mapping, impact assessments, and communication plans to ensure new ways of working are adopted and celebrated.
- Build the Diagnostic toolkit: Develop standard methodologies (e.g., root cause analysis, bottleneck assessment) to help teams quickly diagnose issues and replicate solutions.
- Turn Data into Action: Establish governance frameworks and KPIs that transform data into insights, driving accountability and informed decision‑making.
- Champion operational excellence and automation: Own ‘process + automation’ design and manage key central operating processes. You will also act as an operational advisor to wider teams, helping functions to assess their own processes, systems and tools and work with AI and Product/Eng to implement enhancements that increase productivity and customer value.
- Lead and mentor talent: Manage an Operations Analyst, fostering a culture of continuous improvement. You will also play a key role in developing internal capability (e.g. problem solving, strategy and process excellence) through the set‑up and running of a new Strategy & Ops Academy.
We’re looking for someone with:
- Experience and background: 4+ years in a high‑performance environment (Management Consulting, Start‑up or PE/VC backed business).
- Change Mastery: Proven track record in managing organisational shifts and overcoming resistance to change in global or remote‑first teams.
- Operational excellence toolkit: Expert in mapping and optimising complex processes. Experience with automation or low‑code tools is a strong plus.
- Analytical fluency: Ability to design KPI frameworks and translate data into strategic narratives for senior stakeholders.
- People Leadership: Experience mentoring junior staff with a focus on coaching and growth.
Example KPIs:
- Change Adoption Rate: % of target users actively using new processes or tools 30/60/90 days post‑launch.
- Change Readiness & Sentiment: Average score from post‑project "Voice of the Employee" surveys regarding clarity, support, and ease of transition.
- Operational Improvement: Project Success Rate (key projects delivered on schedule and within scope).
- Process Efficiency Gains: Quantifiable improvements in key operational metrics (e.g., reduction in process time, cost savings, revenue generation).
- Talent Development: Direct reports’ objectives met and successful rollout of S&O Academy modules.
