We’re here to help those who teach. At Twinkl, we’ve been providing educators across the world with high‑quality, trusted teaching and learning resources for over a decade. They’re all written and checked by our experienced educators, and there are hundreds of thousands of resources available for download, with new ones added daily.

We are looking for an experienced SEO Growth Operations Manager to act as the operational heartbeat of Twinkl’s SEO function. Reporting directly to the Director of SEO, you will ensure that our global SEO strategy translates into consistent delivery, scalable systems, and measurable growth. This senior role sits at the intersection of strategy, operations, and delivery. You’ll oversee the execution of SEO initiatives across technical, content, authority and geo pillars, making sure our team drives sustainable acquisition growth and meets ambitious subscriber targets.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Operational Leadership & Delivery: Own day‑to‑day operations of the SEO team, ensuring strategy is delivered on time, to spec, and at scale. Implement automation‑first processes to reduce production cycles, accelerate publishing, and ensure technical and content excellence. Manage the SEO scorecard and dashboards, linking outputs to business impact (sessions, conversions, subscribers). Translate the Director of SEO’s global strategy into actionable programs across the US, UK and priority markets. Drive full‑funnel keyword strategies (ToFu → BoFu), landing page development, and large‑scale content optimisation. Lead delivery of SEO initiatives that directly contribute to subscriber growth (600K new subscribers via SEO by FY26).
  • Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Partner with Production to deliver high‑intent content aligned to keyword demand. Work with Product & Engineering to resolve technical SEO challenges and maintain crawl health, indexation, and speed benchmarks. Collaborate with Data/BI to integrate SEO performance with LTV, CRM and downstream conversion data. Support authority‑building through Thought Leader partnerships and targeted link‑building initiatives.
  • Global & Geo Delivery: Ensure localised execution in key geographies (US, UK, and emerging markets), tailored to curriculum, demand and user intent. Manage geo SEO implementation teams, ensuring alignment with global standards while optimising for regional performance.
  • Team Enablement & Culture: Champion best‑practice SEO education across marketing, content and product teams. Foster a delivery‑focused culture built on accountability, data‑led decision‑making and pride in output. Mentor SEO team leads across technical, content, data, authority and geo pillars.

About You:

  • Proven track record of running large‑scale, multi‑geo SEO programs in high‑growth environments.
  • Deep expertise across technical SEO, keyword strategy, content operations and authority‑building.
  • Strong operational and delivery mindset, with experience embedding automation and scalable workflows.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills; able to work cross‑functionally with product, engineering and marketing.
  • Data‑driven leader who thrives on accountability and measurable results.
  • Inspirational team player who can coach, mentor and elevate those around you.

If you require a reasonable adjustment to the application/selection process to enable you to demonstrate your ability to perform the job requirements, please include this at the foot of your covering letter. This will help us to understand any modifications we may need to make to support you throughout our selection process.

Benefits:

  • A friendly, welcoming and supportive culture. We believe work should be fun and always put people before the process.
  • Diversity, inclusion and belonging – our Employee Network Program includes working groups for LGBTQ+, People of Colour, Disabilities (visible and invisible), Women in Tech and Working Parents.
  • From day 1 – Westfield Health, 33 annual leave days per year (pro‑rated) inclusive bank holidays, a “Me” day each year, a charity day each year and Twinkl subscriptions.
  • Quarterly company awards programme, seasonal events, cervical and prostate screening, company sick pay after 3 months of service.
  • After probation – cycle‑to‑work scheme, long‑term service reward – life insurance, enhanced pension contribution, enhanced maternity and adoption pay, enhanced paternity pay, long‑service award and long‑service annual leave.
